Managing Partner, Director of Investment Research

Brett is a Managing Partner at BBR Partners, co-running the firm, and a Director of Investment Research. He is also a member of the Investment Committee. He co-founded the firm in 2000, and his responsibilities include overseeing BBR’s investment approach and implementation. Brett has extensive experience vetting investment opportunities across the asset class spectrum and through a range of market environments, working with both traditional and alternative investment managers. Prior to founding BBR, Brett was a Vice President in the Equities Division of Goldman Sachs, where he worked to manage the firm’s relationships with private investment partnerships. Previously, he served in Goldman’s Equity Capital Markets groups in New York and Hong Kong. He began his career in Goldman Sachs’ Corporate Finance Department.

Brett graduated summa cum laude, with concentrations in Finance and Accounting, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He serves as the Chair of the Penn Fund, the University of Pennsylvania’s undergraduate annual giving program, and is a member of the Trustees’ Development Committee and the Campaign Steering Committee for the University. He is also a member of the JFNA National Young Leadership Cabinet, the UJA-Federation of New York’s Investment Management Division Executive Committee and the Programming Committee of the Greenwich Roundtable.
