Rich Yam joined BBR Partners in 2026 as a Wealth Strategist specializing in trusts and estates. At BBR, Rich works closely with clients to navigate the complexities of estate and tax planning, designing strategies that support efficient multigenerational wealth transfer and align their family’s long-term goals. Rich collaborates with clients’ estate planning attorneys, tax professionals, and other trusted advisors to help ensure each plan is well coordinated, aligned with client objectives, and easy to understand.

Prior to joining BBR, Rich was a Senior Wealth Strategist at Wealthspire, where he provided wealth strategy solutions to advisors and families. Earlier in his career, he was a trusts and estates attorney at Rivkin Radler LLP.

Rich holds a JD from Brooklyn Law School, an MBA in Finance from CUNY Baruch College, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University. He lives in Staten Island with his wife, Jenny, and their young daughter. Outside of work, he enjoys playing and watching basketball and football, and spending time with friends and family.
