Michael joined BBR Partners in 2021 and is a Vice President of Legal. His responsibilities include supporting the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer on legal and compliance matters concerning the firm.

Prior to joining BBR, Michael was a Compliance & Operation Risk Control Specialist at UBS where he supported UBS’ completion of their remediation efforts. Prior to UBS, Michael was a founding member and General Counsel of the direct-to-consumer cookware company, Brigade Kitchen, which was acquired. While in law school, Michael interned at the New York State Department of Financial Services within the Office of the General Counsel and served as a law clerk to the Hon. Robert J. Miller of the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Second Judicial Department.

Michael earned a BA in History from Franklin & Marshall College and a JD from Brooklyn Law School. Michael is admitted to the New York Bar and is the President of the Children’s Cancer & Blood Foundation’s Young Professional Board.

Michael lives in Brooklyn Heights with his wife, Josephine, and their bernese mountain dog. Outside of work, Michael enjoys cooking, exploring new restaurants, and rooting for the NY Rangers.
