Important Notice Regarding Fraudulent Use of BBR Partners’ Name

BBR Partners is a registered investment adviser with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. Cybercriminals and other bad actors are attempting to take advantage of our reputation by misusing the BBR Partners name, brand, and/or identity to carry out fraudulent schemes by, among other things, soliciting investments and deceiving people. We take this matter extremely seriously and wish to alert the public.
BBR Partners Does NOT:
- Contact individuals who have not been formally introduced through established channels;
- Solicit clients through messenger apps such as WhatsApp, WeChat, Line, Telegram, etc.;
- Open accounts, request payments, wire transfers, or cryptocurrency transactions through informal or unverified channels;
- Ask for passwords, account credentials, or sensitive personal information outside our formal onboarding process; or
- Guarantee investment returns or promise specific financial outcomes.
All client relationships at BBR Partners are established through formal, documented onboarding processes. BBR Partners does not engage in investment solicitation to non-investment advisory clients. Prior to making any investment decisions, please speak to your BBR Partners’ investment advisor via a verified telephone number or email address initiated by you. Please note that individual BBR Partners’ employee emails end with @bbrpartners.com.
If you have been contacted by a fraudster using our name, please take the following steps immediately:
- Do NOT send any money or share personal financial information;
- Report the incident to the Federal Trade Commission at ftc.gov;
- File a complaint with the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Internet Crime Complaint Center at gov;
- Contact your local law enforcement; and
- Contact us directly at fraud@bbrpartners.com.
