Gent joined BBR Partners in 2026 and is the Director of DevOps. Gent is responsible for building and leading the firm’s DevOps practice, overseeing cloud infrastructure, automation, and platform engineering to support BBR’s technology operations and growth.

Gent has experience in site reliability engineering and cloud platform architecture across regulated financial services environments. Prior to joining BBR, Gent held senior leadership positions managing small to medium sized engineering teams at MarketAxess, Bank of America, Interactive Brokers, and OptionMetrics. Gent graduated from college with a BS in Computer Science. He holds certifications as an AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Foundational AI Practitioner, HashiCorp Terraform Associate, Scrum Master and Microsoft Azure Architect.

Gent resides in Nutley, NJ with his wife and two sons. In his spare time, Gent is a car enthusiast who enjoys traveling and road tripping with his family.
