BBR Partners Announces New Partners, Sarah Coyne and Benjamin Metzger
Please join us in congratulating Sarah Coyne and Benjamin Metzger on becoming Partners at BBR. We are thrilled to welcome them to the partnership which has expanded to seventeen equity partners. Both Ben and Sarah have established themselves as leaders throughout the firm and have become indispensable to the families that they advise. They are Directors on our Portfolio and Wealth Advisory team, working with clients to develop an overall financial strategy, managing their investments and executing their wealth management strategies.
Sarah’s intellectual curiosity, ability to tackle complex problems and attentive service have made her an integral partner to the clients that she serves. She has extensive experience in pre liquidity planning, and creation of wealth transfer and philanthropic structures.
Ben builds trust with his clients through his standard of excellence and sound advice. He works with a diverse set of clients and has particular expertise with the tax and investment complexity that accompanies cross-border family structures.
We are grateful for the impact they have had on clients during their tenure at BBR and look forward to the ways they will continue to shape our firm in the future.
Benjamin S. Metzger Biography
Benjamin joined BBR Partners in 2011 and is currently a Director of Portfolio and Wealth Advisory. Prior to joining BBR, Benjamin was a Private Wealth Advisor at Goldman Sachs, London, where he provided risk management and asset allocation advisory services to high-net-worth families and individuals.
Benjamin holds an MSc from the London School of Economics and a BSc from Manchester Business School at the University of Manchester. Benjamin is co-Chair of the UJA-Federation’s Next Generation Investment Management Committee.
Ben lives in Westchester with his wife and two children.
Sarah Coyne Biography
Sarah joined BBR Partners in 2012 and is a Director of Portfolio & Wealth Advisory. Prior to BBR, Sarah was an Investment Representative at Barclays in the Wealth and Investment Management division, working with high-net-worth families and family offices. Prior to that, Sarah was an Analyst at Goldman Sachs in the Securities and Finance Divisions.
Sarah earned an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business with specializations in Finance, Entrepreneurship, and Marketing, and holds a BA in Business Economics from Brown University.
Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband, three children and her dog; running and skiing.
